I just watched this for the first time, and I was absolutely blown away. I can't believe this movie is 20 years old and I haven't seen it before. What a masterpiece!

The performances, the story, the direction, the cinematography, the music. The general atmosphere. I didn't even realise it was Billy Bob Thornton until quite a while into the movie. Then again I think I've only seen him playing those macho/tough guy roles before, so this was so different from that.

Anyway, I just wanted to share that. For those of you who haven't seen this yet, you have something to look forward to, at least in my opinion.

Yep, one of those movies you watch at least once a year.
I even re-watched the extras.
I have the sound track too.
