that the last word said to Carl by Linda, Frank, Vaughn, and Doyle is "Carl". None of them getting a return response from Carl.

I noticed it the first time I watched it.
I tend to notice little details in films, especially dramas.

I'd say this cloud is Cumulo Nimbus.
Didn't he discover America?

Now what does it all mean......that Karl Childers was a person of few words but many thoughts.

Carl had something very meaningful to say, it was a short speech with a lot of heart and description. Carl wanted his words to be the last things to be heard or said. When Carl walked away after someone said "Carl"he left his speech be the last things to be said, like a goodbye.

I just watched the movie for the first time tonight on TMC and I noticed it as well. Came here to see if anyone else noticed. Obviously, many did.
