The scene where Karl and Frank are in the woods at night and Karl is talking about how he buried his newborn brother while he could still hear him crying in the shoebox...The way the moonlight only showed Karl's eyes through the shadows...Deliciously creepy.
Totally creepy scene. He then says something about how Frank shouldn't know about things like that.

I think it's more accurate to say the story revealed information about Karl's parents and thus his upbringing that offers insight into Karl.

The gaffer and cinematographer really knocked it outta the park. Especially the death scene where you could see Karl and his reflection in the mirror as he swung the lawnmower blade.
