You're a winner and a loser if you make a serious film and Troma wants to distribute it. But i don't feel it fits the Troma label in terms of quality. I wouldnt' read too much into the fact that Troma put it out.

shareIt's awesome from waht i can tell, the longer itallian version that was only available on itallian disc is the BU print. It has English DTS (not confirmed if it's DTS-ES or plain DTS) and Itallian stereo and 5.1 dolby digital with full subtitles. Only way it could be better is if there was an English and an Itallian DTS track but that might have lessened the potential for picture quality.

THE STENDHAL SYNDROME is Dario Argento's last great film (even if i like very much the underrated THE CARD PLAYER and JENIFER-from the "Masters of Horror" tv series-)
