Massive geeky plothole

Incredibly geeky, but did anyone notice the plot hole at the end? When they pull off the hover-tank stunt to impress the visiting army officials, one of them says they will rush the hover-tank into production! Production? The hover-tank doesn't work! They faked the whole exercise! What will Bilko do when the army wants to put the hover-tank into production?

Hehe very geeky, but just wondered if anyone else noticed that!

Bilko would probably find a way to weasel out of it, thats what he excels at!

You're right, surely Hall, Ebersole and their men would be in more trouble than Thorn (who only removed a component) for delivering a tank that doesn't work and wasting loads of money.

I think a bigger plot-hole is the fact that the army is making this hover-tank thing by themselves. Last I checked such technology is made by civilian companies with a government contract like Raytheon, Colt or Boeing.

Well, thanks for the spoiler, @ss#ole.
