I'm tired of Steve Martin apologists ?
Martin hasn't been funny since at least sometime in the 1980s. Right now he's a better banjoist then comedian. He made two great movies three good ones and dozens of mediocre to awful ones. His pieces for the New Yorker are insufferable. He has one, only one, classic masterpiece of a comedy album? That's it. His joint hosting the Oscars with Alec Baldwin was one of the worst in the past two decades.
Bilko is an awful movie? It's a disgrace to the TV show that stared the great Phil Silvers.
