Was Frankie Right?

At first she felt T.T. didn't deserve a cut of the money, because she didn't help them rob that bank, but later she gave in. Some of you might not agree with me, but I think Frankie was correct for not wanting T. T to have a share of the money. What if they would have got caught? I wonder what kind of friend T.T. would have been, if those girls went to jail. Any other opinions on this subject?

I know technically TT didn't help out with the first robbery, but as Stoney pointed out she needed it more than any of them to get her son back. Besides I think that Frankie would have given in anyway despite what Cleo & Stoney said. I think that Frankie was just mad that TT got scared and ran out. I think that TT would have stuck by those girls if they would have gotten caught. Those 4 were very tight! I remember the look that Cleo gave the social worker about TT's son. She acted like she wanted to beat her up, but the girls held her back.

I liked the friendship that those 4 had. I think at the end when Stoney is thinking about them is more sad than when Frankie, TT, Cleo, and her brother died. Also thought that it was pretty cool that the cop saw her & let her go without saying anything. I think that he thought that it had gone too far & didn't want to cause anymore harm.

Without question, T.T. did not deserve a cut of the money. Fortunately for many folks, you don't always get only what you deserve for every given situation. Had that been the case then Stoney would not have made it to Mexico.

This is one of my favorite movies, and I think a missing Oscar nomination travesty. Sometimes it is what it is, and you just have to accept it and push on.

Well, none of them deserved it because it was stolen money. T.T. was dim, not a reliable person. However, if the group had been arrested, T.T. would have faced a sentence for being an accomplice, so they might as well share the money with her.

Lol, good point...

They robbed a bank! None of them deserved the money and she wasn't exactly right to tell someone they can't share in her stolen wealth just because they didn't help her commit a felony to get it. If they got caught, oh well. It's a crime. As much as I love this movie I don't get why so many people side with the girls' decisions to the point that they forget that they weren't in the right for what they did. The movie wasn't saying it's good for people to rob banks. The ending shows just how worthless money can be.

She oviously didn't have their back too much. She ran out when Stoney ran in with them. But as for the money? I would have given it to her just because she needed more than all of them and not only that she could have walked out of there and snitched on all of they asses just for spite, lol.

OMG!! I got on here for just that question. That is one thing about the movie that irks me to no end. I totally agree that she should have not got a cut. I know she needed the money more than anyone, all the more reason to get her azz in there and help. Her character, to me, is sooooo annoying.

I agree she shouldn't have gotten a cut since she ran out on them. However who's to say she wouldn't have given them up if they didn't give her a cut? I think that's something they didn't think about. Sure she would have been arrested as well but she could have gotten a deal with a probation sentence attached in exchange for her testimony against the others.

I don't think she would have turned them in. I think she would have just went with them on the next robbery and made sure she stayed and helped. I don't think her character was smart enough to do any blackmailing.
