Why did Billy want to kill Sidney and Mr. Prescott after already getting his revenge?

I'm not seeing how they have anything to do with this. Billy already murdered Maureen out of retribution, so shouldn't that have been enough? He could have just moved on with his life instead of getting Sidney and Neil involved.

Because it wasn't enough. He was still upset with his mother abandoning him and came to imagine that Sidney was just like her mother. It was just easy to pin everything on Neil.
