The Mongolian fighter

anybody else notice that van damme fights the same guy in this and lionheart at the end? i find that unique, you don't see the same two guys fight at the end in very many movies. anybody know of other movies that do this?

reply

I saw that mongolian guy credited for The Order too. I don't know what kind of role he played though. Hey, do you think that sumo wrestler survived after being punched in the stomach like that. My brother thinks he is dead. I figured since he trained his stomach to be the strongest part of his body, those hits should only be enough to make him pass out. Also, where was that guy from who knew the monkey, snake, and tiger styles.

reply

He was the representative of China.

Gentlemen, you can't fight in here! This is the War Room!

reply

The first punch was in the liver.

van dam fights that buff chinese guy (bo leng or something) at the end of bloodsport and double impact

reply

I am sure the Sumo guy survives. Later on when Van Damme and the Mongolian guy are fighting, and the combat carrys on outside, you can see the Sumo guy in the crowd watching the fight.

Well yeah. but its another Van Damme flick. In Double Impact, he fights Peter Malota(Spain fighter) whom plays the thug with spurs in Double Impact. And again in The Order, same guy. Van damme has his own fighters' entourage, like when Adam Sandler when he uses Peter Dante, Jonathan Loughran and Allen Covert in almost all his movies. They are all in Van Damme's talent agency.

He fights Bolo Yeung at the end of Bloodsport and Double Impact.
