Maura Tierney is sexy in this flick!
Oh yes, she is!
shareHighly agree!!
shareOh yes. Just watching this on the big screen is distressing, because how fine she looks here.
shareI always thought she was sexy. Even on ER.
Not a false note.
sharetotal 90s babe
shareI can't unsee her as Truman's fake wife.
shareWrong 90s babe, wrong 90s film.
Laura Linny is the lady you're recalling; however, Tierney plays Jim Carrey's ex-wife in "Liar, Liar" (1997).
Haha, that's right! Thanks for correcting me. All the "Laura Linny" I kept reading on posts had me mixed up. Funny, both of them were in Jim Carrey movies. I thought she looked familiar and yes, she is very pretty.
Still, I can't seem to disassociate the actress from The Truman Show because it's the first thing I remember seeing her in
Haha, I've been seeming to do the same lately, over the past couple of years -- my memory isn't as strong as it used to be. I couldn't put a face to "Maura Tierney", and looked her up on IMDB after reading the first few posts. I could totally see mixing up the both of them, in one way or the other.
If you haven't seen it yet, watch "The Life of David Gale" (2003), with Luara Linny -- which has dark commentary about society. The previews for the film hooked me. As for Maura Tierney, once I looked at her picture, all I could think about was "E.R." -- I used to sit and watch the tv show with my sister and mom.
She cornered the market on the ‘concerned understanding’ look while being unusually pretty, with that furrowed brow and squiggly mouth. Always had a great slender figure and nice 90’s hair.
She’s ruined all that now by botoxing the fuck out of her face. Shame, she could have aged really well.
