Lovely film, Whitney is at her best and it's a pleasure to see Denzel play a lighter role, instead of chasing down bad guys (or playing one). Courtney Vance is great playing the preacher, you can feel his emptiness. And how fun is it to watch Gregory Hines play the villain. It's become a holiday favorite around here.

Yes, very good holiday movie. Like to calm everyone down on Christmas Eve and just enjoy. Its a little lengthy, but still wonderful.
