Was Buddy Love's "Lovin You" a song he made up or was it a real song?

It's a real song by the late great singer Minnie Ripperton.

Yes, absolutely. Some people find the song to be a little too sentimental and "corny", but I love it. Really nice song and vocals by Minnie. I think it's one of the best love songs i've heard. I'm a big Minnie Ripperton fan tho so I'm kinda biased lol.
