Buddy is Sherman

I like the scenes in the movie when Buddy Love says things and does things that let you know that he is still part of the Professor. I loved the part when he told the security guard about the upside down cake his wife baked for Sherman and how he ate every crumb of it lol. I also liked when Buddy was eating how much food to show that he's still a part of Sherman. I liked how he grabbed Dean Richmond and said he would strangle him and cut off "his" air supply. The best part of course is when Buddy gets back at Reggie. Buddy Love didn't just come out of no where. He's somewhere inside Sherman Klump. There's a Buddy Love in us all. Some keep him locked away better than others.

"There's a Buddy Love in us all"

They should make T-shirts that say that.

You make a good point, Buddy was the repressed energy kept deep inside the Professor; once he got out, he slowly started to grow and become more and more exaggerated and obnoxious. THAT is why he becomes so much of a villain near the end... If that makes any sense.

We've come to the conclusion that The Bird is greater than or equal to The Word.

Didn't Buddy also get back at the obnoxious neighbor by throwing a wild party? This was during the scene where everyone was yelling out "The roof, the roof is on fire!"
