The scene when Sherman's family embarrasses him when he brings Carla to dinner was funny. But I always laugh the hardest when Sherman's grandmother starts clapping and singing "Sherman's gonna have relations, Sherman's gonna have relations." The grandmother actually says the most perferted things at dinner. It was funny. If I ever had a family that embarrassed me like that at dinner, I'd want to kill them lol.

It's ridiculous for someone to be that EXCITED about such eventuality, but never taking any steps ENSURING that would happen.
I mean, no one teaches Sherman PUA stuff, which would ensure he can get laid as much as he wants, without losing even 1 pound of weight, as it's not the physical side that ignites a woman's sexuality. He's kept insecure on false premise, and he's kept fat without telling him how to even lose the weight.
Calory theory is wrong, and this movie is really frustrating for all its lies and omissions - why don't the parents tell him how to get laid and how to lose weight? I guess we wouldn't have this rip-off of Jerry Lewis' original take on the more original 'Jekyll and Mr. Hyde'-story, then, but still.
