It's ten years later and Kelly Hu still can't get decent roles.No progression whatever.It was also disappointing she has such a limited role in this too,her death scene wasn't even that dramatic,at least have her crashing through a window.Oh,well,at least we saw her land with a nice,satisfying thump on the surveillance truck,and the way the pineapple grenade rolled from her lifeless hand was a nice touch.
shareI saw this film for the first time today (mainly because I knew Hu was in it) and I had the same thought.
I've seen dozens of movies that might feature a talented actress with promise (whatever happened to Michelle Krusiec after Saving Face?) and then you never see them again, meanwhile droves of untalented "actresses" like Jessica Alba, Jessica Biel, Lindsay Lohan, or even Jessica Simpson continue to get roles. And I'm not even talking about lead roles, I'd settle for meaty supporting roles. Sigh.

All Chinese are not called Chan nor all Chinese martial arts parts are played by Jckie Chan. That was Sammo Hung, not Jackie Chan becoming suddenly overweight.
I didn't even recognize her.
20 years later and she's still in the same boat.
