I guess the obvious answer is he took them off like most people, but yeah it did seem a bit odd that he was suddenly like that. Hey, I sent you a PM yesterday, have a read if you get a chance.

He then wades waist deep in the water to get into the lifeboat and very likely was barefooted then.
What i want to know is how his pants were already dry by the time he goes from the lifeboat to crawling in the Hispaniola.
For one thing: THEY ARE PIRATES!!! And another thing: They probably took them off just to be mean so he'd step on a rock and make him scream like a girl
