What if Jim Hawkins was a muppet?

I hate to say this but I must. The Muppet movies have all been going downhill since the passing of the great Jim Henson and we dedicated Muppet fans have been wishing it for another truly great Muppet masterpiece. I’ve noticed a pattern with most of the resent Muppet films and the pattern is that the main characters are being played by people rather than Muppets. I’m sure that most of you have also noticed this. I got to thinking and have decided that maybe if they had used a Muppet to play Jim rather than a human this may have been a much better movie. Would anyone like to discus this idea? I know this discussion is much too late to help this movie, but it may help with future Muppet projects.

Muppet THX-1138, while we're on Lucas flims.
And the king of kings.... A StarWars remake with muppets.

And that's all I have to say about that

I think they use humans because the muppets already have defined characters, which could be difficult to fit into a film.

The movie really wouldn't have been good if Jim was a muppet instead. But that's just my opinion

And I'll get him back even as he gloats. In the meantime, I'll practice on less honerable throats!
