A lot of people say think it is the best muppet movie, and although I love Christmas Carol, this is my favourite, with great lines, songs and performances(people you see Tim Curry with one leg!)I think the worst is Muppets Wizard of Oz.
If anyone thinks this is the best then they are a double retard. Nothing muppet related will ever be as good as it was back when Jim was alive. Having said that, Muppets from Space is definitely the best post-henson muppet movie. Christmas Carol was good as well. Treasure Island was absolute *beep* I've never seen Muppet Wizard of Oz.

If you don't like it that's fine, but I do so that's fine as well, or at least it should be. I have no problem with people saying they love or hate a movie, so long as they don't criticise people who have a different opinion to them (something that you have just done). For example, someone reviewing Fantasia said that if you like this movie you have bad taste, which I took great offense at, beacause I was raised on classical music and am considering to do classical singing as a career. Another case was with Legend, when I had no problem with the person saying he/she hated the film, where I abolsutely love it despite one or two flaws, but when another person questioned his/her judgement on the film, he/she had a go at them, saying that they had a bad taste in films, which they should never say, as it is their opinion not anyone else's.
That said, I really like Muppet Treasure Island, mainly because I love Tim Curry, and I love Muppet Christmas Carol as well. I agree that Muppets in Space is very good too. But I do know that Muppet Wizard of Oz is the worst Muppet movie. Honestly it had mediocre songs, awkward scenery, and stale jokes. The only good things about it were Ashanti and the muppets.

Actually, I kinda agree with you about people's opinions; there's nothing wrong with saying that you like or don't like something. But, frankly, none of my classmates ever saw it that way.

Muppets from Space was WAY better than this. I agree with the original poster. This movie was garbage. If you have to pick a non-muppet as the best part of the movie that says a lot. The Muppets themselves were bland in this movie. The scene in Space where Gonzo talks to the sandwich alone is better than Treasure Island.
shareThe space movie was just ill conceived and felt like it was written over the weekend. This one had solid acting, it was hilarious.

I thought the story of the space movie was weak and had very flimsy pacing. But the jokes in it were hilarious I loved the sandwhich scene.
The story in treasure island was excellent as it was a "remake" and though I still loved the jokes in it wasn't as strong as Space IMO.
There's a bullet out there for everyone the trick is to die of old age before it finds you.
