miss piggy flub

I just bought the 50th anniversary edition DVD and watched it last night...

In the scene were miss piggy is first talking to kermit, and long john shows up. Kermit says "oh no not him too" and miss piggy saying something like "I needed commitment, I'm a WHORE, you knew that when we first met" My eyes widened and I was shocked that maybe I misheard it....

after rewinding it about a dozen times, and putting on the subtitles on, I am almost positive she said "whore" the subtitles say "pig"

I think what happened was it was a flubbed take and Frank Oz adlibed the line as a joke. They often insert adult content in mis-takes, but this time they mistakenly kept it in.

Check it out for yourself

I just got the 50th anniversity edition also and she never did say "whore." I even double checked that if maybe I missed it but she definitaly said "pig."

She said I'm a pig, I need commitment. It's a reference to an old fable about a pig and a hen who are going to start a restaurant.

A Pig and a Chicken are walking down the road. The Chicken says, "Hey Pig, I was thinking we should open a restaurant!". Pig replies, "Hm, maybe, what would we call it?". The Chicken responds, "How about 'ham-n-eggs'?". The Pig thinks for a moment and says, "No thanks. I'd be committed, but you'd only be involved

She definitely doesn't say "pig" or "whore"

It starts with a "p" and has an "O" in the middle. I think the guy saying "pork" is right

Death to shakeycam directors!
