Although the movie is only 90 minutes long, it feels like it was longer. Why? Story is pretty thin, (original) jokes are few and far between and half of the songs is not that memorable. There was a potential here for a much better movie.
I wish they gave Curry more depth and more to do.

shareIf I ever get that "needs more story" feeling, I just tell myself to compare it to Jurassic Park. Don't get me wrong, entertaining through-and-through, but just about the most zero story you can have in a Hollywood blockbuster move. Arrive at an island, wait for helicopter to pick you up. In between is just wild animals running around (something they would be doing anyway). If it weren't for the fat dude turning off the power, then the story would be thinner than gold-foil.
