Do you remember the war?
I remember when I was 15 years old, back when I was the notorious voodoo_child63, I invaded the content advisory page. It started with some silly stuff, like Jim saying the c-word, a man being hit in the chest with a cannon, Billy Bones dying of a sudden heart attack (whilst masturbating) and every time I did, someone would change it back. But I brought it back even worse, with descriptions of Muppets raping people, killing children and actual actors dying on screen. The carnage was unbelievable, it raged on for over a year until they locked the page.
That account has long been blocked and I'm just turned 22. Now that I look back, it was very silly, but impressive that I managed to start an edit war and have a page locked for over 7 years single handedly. The locked page now stands as a monument, an edit war provoked on a movie so insignificant, a symbol of confusion and curiosity to anyone who cares to look.
I'm glad I have contributed to a memorable moment in IMDb's user history.
Peace be with you all
