This was a great movie, but there are two things I hated in the movie:
1. Why killed The Colonel Jennifer Connelly?
2. That was too bad Michael Madsen had a supporting role in this movie. I think he can handle with leading roles. Oh god, what I hated Melanie Griffith in this movie.

Because she was found dead by the road construction workers earlier in the movie.
The Colonel knew he could not let het live after he read that scene in the script and so he decided to kill her.

Could this be beacuse you hate her in every movie?
I know i do!!
I thought Melanie Griffith was terrific in this movie. Plus, she looked great in the long shots. Her character was deliberately made to appear worn out in her closeups.
