Forgive me if I missed something, it's been many years since I've seen this....
But I remember near the climax Ethan confronts Phelps and reveals him to Kittridge with the camera glasses...
1 How did Kittridge know to look at the Camera watch at that moment?
2 How did Ethan know Kittridge was going to look at that camera?
Flaw?
It's been too long for me, too, so I called up the scene on youtube. There doesn't seem to be an in-movie answer that satisfies, but I would suggest that it's possible Ethan's glasses are activated and begin broadcasting only when he opens them? As soon as the broadcast starts (a couple seconds before he slides them on his face and provides Kittredge with the image of Phelps), maybe the watch beeps, prompting Kittridge to check it?

shareI chalk that up to a bit of dramatic time expansion. Like, it takes longer for us to watch it than it did for Ethan to slip the glasses on.
Still, regardless of the time, you'd think that Ethan reaching for literally anything shouldn't have been allowed by Jim.
