One thing I couldn't understand - what was the point of the whole "lunch with Henry Fine" thing? Was it supposed to show that Greg was actually getting a little jealous? Seemed like it was put in for some reason but I don't remember it being carried out or mentioned again.

i think it is to show that he's getting jealous and that their married relationship is growing...just a point to prove that the two are starting to fall for each other..greg also asks rose if she could join him while on his book tour since they never had any kind of honeymoon...just my opinion...
shareThat makes sense. Probably the direction they were going for. Seems a little heavy handed the way it was worked in. I got the impression that his coming around and asking her to meet him in Europe was more because he felt good having her hold him & rub his back - rather than a result of her lunch with Henry.
Of course, he did have to floss ... :)
