Your interpretation of the title?
Did I miss the part where they explain it, or something; and if not, what are your ideas?

I haven't seen it for ages but I guess it's something to do with Babs's character being a dowdy frump outside but a gorgeous siren underneath? Oh, I dunno.
Angel who did not so much fall as saunter vaguely downwards.
a gorgeous siren underneath
It's a metaphor, i think but dont quote me, lol
"The Mirror Has Two Faces" meaning it has two sides, Rose Morgan had the unattractive side of herself(face), and the attractive side(face) but still remaining to be the same person,,, hope this helps!!!!

As I mentioned in another post, I think the title refers to the fact that the mirror shows YOU your face, as you perceive it. However, it also shows the face as OTHERS perceive it/you. You see yourself one way, but others see you another way. Another person can look at your reflection, in the same mirror as you do, at the same time, and see another person. That's how I interpret the meaning of the title, anyway. I think that this film is based on a book, if I'm not mistaken? And, the author/playwright (Richard LaGravenese???.. maybe the film is just based on the play by Richard LaGravenese) was not too happy with Streisand's interpretation of it. I think because she does the whole makeover, which, I believe, was not a part of the original storyline/play.
sharei have not seen the movie but i saw the trailer and think the title means you look at yourself in the mirror and see something, but the mirror itself sees something different. let me know if you ever find out

The way I see it at the beginning of the movie Rose doesn't think she's beautiful but doesn't necessarily mind but then greg comes along with his arrangement but when she tries to seduce her she thinks he doesn't fancy her so she changes herself for him to attract him but really what Greg wanted all along was the old rose.
Anyway what I am trying to say is that i think the title means that although you may see yourself one way other people may see you differently.
I think it's a reference to the fact that different people see her differently - ie, there's more than one opinion on her makeover. She thought she was unattractive beforehand, but Greg liked her better that way. Alex, on the other hand, saw her as she saw herself - unattractive, then desirable post makeover.
Just a theory...
If anyone disses the sunglasses they'll be answering to me and my stiletto!
My theory is similar to that. I think it means the way you see yourself and the way other people see you is not the same. Like you said, Rose saw herself as unattractive, but Greg didn't.
"What if this is as good as it gets?"
I agree with the posters who say there are two faces in that 1) the way you see yourself and 2) the way others see u
1 = Rose saw herself as ugly that is why she did not make an effort in her looks
2 = After her mother shows her the picture of her self as a baby and tells her she is beautiful she realises it she makes an effort in her appearance the beauty that is there will be brought out.
It also makes me realise that when her sister and her mother were telling her what to eat and how to do her make up they werent rtying to make an ugly duckling into a swan , they were making a swan realise how beautiful it already was.
if it were up to me I'd chose to speak like Humphrey Bogart, but....it isn't
