Is the baby in the photo Lauren Bacall looks at really Barbra? I've seen a picture of her as a child before -- maybe age 6 or so -- and this baby/2 year old kind of resembled her, but I can't tell for sure either if it's the same person. I just saw in the trivia here that the photo of Rose's parents was Barbra's real father, so she did use her own photos for some of it, anyway.

Though I haven't seen that particular photo in any of my books about Streisand, the little girl very much resembled her as a child, and I'm 99.99% certain it's her. She used, as you said, the photo of her own father, and an earlier photo of Lauren Bacall in the film, and I'm very positive that that baby/very little girl photo is of her.

I guess it's a babyphoto of herself as well, allthough it looks even more like a babyphoto of Jason (her son).
shareThat's exactly what I thought too. I think it's a picture of Jason Gould, her son, although I would not be too happy that my mother would use a picture of me as a baby and say it was her, a bit emasculating.
That face is certainly not new to me, and I don't think that a baby in the 40s when Babra would have been that age would have looked like that. The hair, the clothes, the picture itself, it's very 70s, which is when Jason would have been that age.
