The scenes between Rose and her mother almost always made me tear up, even more than any scenes between Rose and Gregory. Anyone else have the same reaction?

It is a v nice scene.....but not enough to make me tear up...:-)
tear up no, but they make me feel such a pain!
shareMe too because my mother treats me exactly how she treated her daughter. And it has only gotten worse with time.
shareI hate those scenes for that exact reason. When Rose's mom makes a particular comment (I forget exactly what it is she said at the moment) I just roll my eyes in total annoyance because it sounds like something my mother would say to me.
