the funniest being Dev's escape from Lincoln prison

Dev was just as much a hero as Collins, not the evil villain he's made out to be.

That this movie made Dev out to be a villain is pure perspective. I didn't see it like that at all.

I've had a lot of sobering thoughts in my time Del Boy, it's them that started me drinking!
