Serious question, do you believe in Martians??

For years I thought, no...not really. But then I saw the "Kumburgaz, Turkey UFO" video http://memedonia.com/index.php/conspiracy

And then I thought it was genuinely the best video I've seen so far. I mean, even scientists said the video is genuine(as in not faked with camera trickery/CGI)and nobody knows what the hell it is. I know you're all probably thinking "Why the hell would you have a serious discussion on a Mars Attacks! board?" but hey, why not.

I do think that Earth can't be the only place in this galaxy with life on it. There got to be at least one other place with some kind of life. But then again, if there is...why haven't they found a way to get in touch with us? Why do we have to do everything?

The probability of another planet with life is too great for Earth to be truly alone. So yeah i think the truth is out there in regards to the question of other life.

However i don't think that we're in danger. If aliens wanted to take over Earth, i think they would have already.

Yes, microbial ones. I think many planets are probably crawling with wee bugs, but not multicellular lifeforms... because comets etc wipe them out.

I think that if there is life on Mars, it is microbial, and it probably came from Earth, in the form of extremophiles.
But that's what exploring Mars would be concerned with. if there is microbial life, and if so, did it originate on Mars, come from Earth, or come from somewhere else in outer space (panspermia).
