I never expected my humble home city, the Welsh Capital of Cardiff, to be mentioned in such a major Hollywood movie with such a studded cast. I wonder if it was at Tom Jones' urging that Tim Burton included the line? Or would he have anyway as it was Tom Jones? Maybe Tim is a fan?

shareIt was either an ad-lib by Tom or something the screenwriter Jonathan Gems added. Gems is British, so it's entirely possible he would've put that line in to give the on-screen character of Tom some local colour.
Blew my mind when I first saw it... and in a Cardiff cinema un'all! (The old Capital Odeon, before it became a Premire Cinema years later).
