As much as I hate Tim Burton now...

I totally agree, this might be my favourite film of his.

Well I have the polar opposite point of view: He's my favorite director and I only despise this.

disagree, i can't believe he went from making his masterpiece Ed Wood to this unfunny thing






so many movies, so little time

I love it yet I know why others wouldn't call it one of his best, especially compared to his earlier movies. Idk, it is a fun and rather clever parody, but from a directorial and writing standpoint, it's feels like Burton did a 180 (that is, it feels like it was made by a far less talented and visionary director).

Having said that, comparisons to his other movies aside, it is an underrated movie in its own right. It's unique and filled with excitement.
