In one of the flashback scenes we see how that one eyed guy lost his eye. Charly stabs him and runs. He pulls out a HUGE FRIGGIN gun and shoots her. In the close up it looks like a Desert Eagle. Is it? Because if it is she would have surely died from the shots or been so wounded that she'd never swim to shore.
share yep, it was a Desert eagle. probaly in .357 mag. And while the .357 will put a nasty ho;e in one's head, i belive she was merly struck a glancing blow from the bullet. While going over her injuries she never mentioned the docs taking a bullet outta her head.
the skull is pretty tough . and if the bullet had killed her eight yrs ago shed be a ghost. lol.. good catch on the DE....

and was it just me or did the guy in the train station who fires first at Charlie have a silenced pistol at first and then it changed when sam jackson picked it up into an Uzi or some other automatic.(couldnt really see it well)
share IIRC, there were two guys, one w/ uzi, and one with a suppressed Beretta m92 (?). Charlie i believe disarmed the pistol guy first. but hell i could be wrong. Thanks for giving me another excuse to watch it the next time it's on.

Well in that case they srewed it up because I just watched it and it was indeed the D.E. .50 cal Action Express.

Not a direct hit. The bigger goof was by Charlie when she assembled her sniper rifle. Everything was cool till she put a cartridge in and closed the bolt. Moments later she almost takes Mitch's head off accidently. Not safe weapon handling by anyone especially a professional.
