in The Long Kiss Goodnight, Samuel L. Jackson's character was thrust right into the middle of a war between crazy white devils. he was frightened and hesitant up until the part where he gets all shot up trying to save Geena Davis' daughter. he then arises, with "nagger eyes" aflame and new found confidence to face the white devils and avenge his wardrobe.

his outfits are constantly ruined throughout the film with bullets and other such white man tools of death.

We should meet and discuss the merits of applying race politics to 90s action films. I have a sound Passenger 57 theory I'm sure you'd be eager to hear.

i have only seen the end of Passenger 57 while flipping through channels one evening. i'll be sure to watch it soon but feel free to post your theory in the meantime...

You should watch it all, as if you only saw the end you probably missed the best bit. But if you saw any of the repetitive groin attacking that goes on at the end, you will understand that each boot which connects with Charles Rayne's crotch is a win against white oppression and slavery.
