I'm with you on this one. How many times could these trained killer assassins have just blown away Charly and Mitch? But hey, why waste bullets when you've got a knife and a really cold room.

Since she had been killed once already, it could be assumed proof was needed the second time around.
Cutting off frozen body parts is cleaner.

Not that I know about that stuff.
