Where'd she get the suitcase with the gun?
Just can't remember, but who gave her the suitcase that had the hidden compartment with the gun in it? I thought I remember her leaving her house with it.

No, it was a suitcase she had left behind 8 years ago at the motel before she got amnesia. An old lady who worked at the motel didn`t have the conscience to throw it out so she kept it. After she died one of the grandchildren took a visa card from the suitcase and tried to use it. That is how Samuel L. Jackson found the lead, they went to the motel to get it and the film cuts to them in the car where Geena Davies is looking through it. She also finds the postcard where she mentions her "fiance" and the number to Brian Cox`s character, and then the action kicks in! Jackson`s assistant is the one who gives us the info... I always felt that the film should have the scene where they pick it up but was probably cut for time.
