Anyone else see where the Bourne films were born here?

Spy loses memory, and everyone wants her dead?

Brian Cox?

Every time I see this movie I think this is where they got the idea for the Bourne Identity, right?

Obviously they changed everything up, but the guts are all there.

Its just Jason Bourne filtered through Shane Black where he took the story of a spy with amnesia and set it around christmas as he does with most of his films. The biggest difference is that the protagonist is a woman. This film rocks and so does the Bourne films so nobody can complain.

Yes, Robert Ludlum wrote The Bourne Identity back in 1980.

The Long Kiss Goodnight came out in 1996.

The Bourne Identity came out in 2002.

Those are all facts.

Good job by all.

there was a tv show in the 60`s "Coronet Blue". it was about a guy with amnesia that people were trying to kill. Turns out he was a spy. I always figured that was where Ludlum got the idea.

I agree. Also, the kick butt stunts remind me of Selene in "Underworld".
