Just saw Geena Davis mention this movie on a fluff show

The giggly hosts asked her what her favourite of her movies was, and she said The Long Kiss Goodnight and added how much she loved doing action movies. My first thought was "Awesome!" My second thought was "Chefs do that!"

That's cool because I love this movie, I don't get why so many people don't like it. It's a bad ass 90s action movie. So many great lines.

Samuel L. Jackson has brought this film up in interviews too when asked which film he loved doing. Guess it was a great experience for both of 'em.
