Letterman's 'Weekend in Hell'

I didn't find this under the goofs section...
When Letterman is offered a contract that begins in May 1994, Ovitz says "18 months from now" which would make the date late fall 1992. However, Letterman says he's going to spend the weekend in Connecticut (hell) and when Lassally comes over, the weather is absolutely summer-like - sunny, warm, leaves are bright green complete with Letterman's full pool. Last time I checked, Connecticut was in New England, not exactly the warmest of places at that time of year.

Anyone else notice this or am I wrong???

i live in philadelphia, pa and assume that the weather pattern isn't too different from connecticut. here in philly, the weather is most beautiful in september. its perfect weather. 75 degrees, sunny, refreshing breeze. by october it's a hit or miss. some days are drop dead gorgeous whereas other days are chillier. leaves do begin to discolor or fall but you have plenty of green leaves.

I live in Toronto, which is obviously north of Connecticut. I clearly remember the weekend of October 13, 1996 - 30 degrees celsius, greenery all about, birds and squirrels all agambol - just gorgeous, gorgeous weather. There is no magical deadline for the autumnal curtain to fall.
