I like this movie, even though it's ridiculous

I know that people don't go flying through the air when you shoot them with pistols. Also, Colt M1911 pistols only hold seven rounds in the magazine and don't fire endless rounds. Not to mention that if you punch your fist through a car window, chances are you'll end up cutting up your hand badly.

Still, despite such inaccuracies, I liked this movie and how it just said f-it to reality. It was almost like a comic book in a way, and I mean that in a positive sense.

I've always liked this as well. I saw it when it came out on video in '97 and have seen it 3 times since then probably. It's ultra violence in a dusty, Old West type setting with two rival gangs battling it out in the Prohibition Era. It's fun.

Why do you say that? Walken may not be churning out as many great performances as he used to, but he has been consistently great in numerous roles throughout the years. Everything from The Deer Hunter, to Pulp Fiction, Things To Do In Denver When You're Dead, Catch Me If You Can, etc. He's a very good actor. But if you're referring to how he has almost become a parody of himself, then I must agree.

But so have many of the great actors of the last 30-40 years. Robert DeNiro is doing crap like Dirty Grandpa with Zac Efron, and Al Pacino is one "Hoo-Ah!" away from being a full on parody of himself as well. It's unfortunate, but at least we still have their previous excellent work from those actors to watch and enjoy.

Rest In Peace Roxy 9/2/16

It's not a very good movie.
Ridiculous and cartoon like characters, over the top and completely implausible action scenes, nonsensical and pointless story. A bunch of tough guys running around in circles doing absolutely nothing.
It's clear why it was trashed critically and under performed at the box office.
But....I still like it. Maybe for a viewing every ten years.
It's trash. Every once in a while i like trash.
