IMO Bill Murray's "Big Ern" Is one of The Most Underrated Characters of All time!

I've watched Kingpin probably 10 or 15 times in my life...

I love the movie...I remember always thinking Bill Murray's "Big Ern" was absolutely Great

Buuuuuut I just watched Kingpin for the 1st time in at least 8 years.....

and now IMO Bill Murray's "Big Ern" Is one of The Most Underrated Characters of All time!

This character is absolutely Amazing and I think Bill Murray OWNED this role

I think anyone who has seen the film agrees. Big Ern should have been given his own film with no life lessons or character arcs.

I think it’s Bill Murray’s best supporting role. He stole every scene, and was funny as hell!

I wish this movie was more popular, because it’s hysterical, and one of my all time favorite comedies. It was a perfect “Dumb & Dumber” follow up for The Farrelly Brothers.

"Mary" had mass appeal & "Dumber" was what put them on the map. But always considered this movie the Farrelly Bros' crown jewel:
