why didn't Roy bowl lefty?

maybe I missed it but why didn't Roy learn to bowl left-handed?

i guess. I was just curious if it was ever brought up (which I now know wasn't I just watched it again today). Personally I feel comedies (specifically goofball comedies) should be immune to plot holes. For instance it's brought up that sticking a hand into the ball machine shouldn't sever it unless a ball comes but that was clearly done for irony and effect.

Is Woody Harrelson actually right handed? I noticed a scene about 10 minutes into the movie (when he still has his right hand), he's clearly eating with his left hand.

It's a lot tougher than you might think to learn to bowl with the other hand. I tried.

So if you lost your dominant hand, you think it would be easier to learn to bowl with a rubber hand than the other hand?
