Anyone Ever Notice.....

In the beginning when Roy is trying to selling bowling items at Lancaster Bowl, the clerk is reading a magazine. Is it just me or has anyone else thought that the back of that magazine resembled the World Trade Center bellowing smoke? I know it's not, it was just the first thing that came to mind!

I didn't pay attention to the back cover, but the front said "Asian Brides". I doubt that it would have a pic of the WTC on the back, unless the prop person made a mistake and cobbled something together from a news magazine. Don't forget that there was the bombing back in 1993, although it didn't generate as much smoke and external damage as 2001 (before the towers collapsed). But I do remember the news showing all the people evacuating and they had soot all over their face from the smoke climbing up inside the towers (the bomb went off in the underground garage.

OK. I got to see that scene again. I can see what you mean, but to me it also looks like it could be smoke from a steam locomotive, or steam from something hot like a geyser, maybe even it is smoke from a fire. But smoke billowing from the WTC? It didn't resemble that to me.

This is what it actually is: It's a picture of a boreal forest in winter snow. The plume of smoke/steam is actually a snow covered branch in the foreground, with some icicles hanging from it. The only legible text says "Nature's Champagne". So it looks like just some make-up full back-cover ad to go along with the fake "Asian Brides" cover.
