I was wondering if anyone knew where the PJ's Soft Serve Ice cream stand is located? I beleive I went past it on Route 219 in PA about 4 years ago, This place looked exactly like the stand in the movie. If anyone knows, I'd really appreciate it.
sharei was wondering the same thing. i do know some other locations... the jolly jumper motel is located on route 22 in murrysville, not too far east of pittsburgh. the motel there now has been closed down and the lot is for sale. roy's run down apartment where the staged mugging of the landlord took place is located not far off route 30 in trafford, pa. it looks exactly the same as it did in the movie. the bridge part is right there too where roy spilled the coffee on the baby in the stroller and stole the bottle of milk. also the mcknight lanes where they first learn of stanley's high stakes game at his mansion was turned into a bed, bath and beyond several years ago. i'm guessing they just used the quick outside shot of this bowling alley anyway and no interior shots.
shareI do think I passed it on 219 , it looked just like when it did the first time in the movie when Roy was young. I passed it along my way to Maryland to go to another placed where a famous movie was filmed !! I live in NY I have to make it down to PA again soon.
