Alec Baldwin's character was certainly obsessed with her......my cousin told me that in the end they have sex and end up together.
I saw this movie so long ago that I do not remember, but I doubt it ended that way. I thought he died in the end or something like that.

It looked as though she kissed him back. He was sexy as hell back then. I think part of her was attracted to him but he made her sick and killed ppl. including her best friend. He had to die.
