How come no buzz on this movie?

I bought this movie last week for $5.50 at Wal Mart, watched it last night. It was pretty good. Very exciting, bad guys lose, good guys win, yada yada yada. How come there are no topics, and no buzz about this movie? Not the greatest thing I have ever seen, but worth $5.50 at Wal-Mart. Thoughts?

compare this flick with "Trial by Jury", which is identical plot. I'll take Whaley-Kilner, Hurt, Byrne & Assante over this cast.

This was a SWEET movie. I love the final scene in the Mayan temple.

This movie is AWESOME - one great entertaining thrill ride. Loved the performances too!!

The performances make this movie, but unfortunately the ending was weak. The sequence with Alec Baldwin, Demi Moore, and "Rodney" in the car almost running down her child - "Who will protect you!" That's such a great piece, Alec Baldwin is so great in this movie!

Here, here. I heartily agree. Awesome, powerful scene.

alec baldwin was good in this movie. most of the actors were. but there was something that was missing, can't pinpoint what.

it's a dirty world Reich, say what you want

It's problem: The movie was slow-moving and boring.

Saw it yesterday and I have to agree:

great performances from both Baldwin and Moore, good plot (although I heard it's a remake, but still...) without too many errors, really enjoyed this one!

The ending wasn't bad, but also not good..

Then again, endings are overrated anyways...;)

its over 10 years old what do u expect? the only movies thst still generate "buzz" after 10 years are cult classics. there was plenty of "buzz" about it when it came out. not sure what u think should be the case. 24.99 on the new release wall? big neon lights pointing out it's location in walmart? daily texts and/or telephone calls to u informing u it's out on dvd? there have been hundreds upon hundreds of major movie releases dating back to the silver screen era. its up to u to track em down and watch em. indies too.

Actually the movie is 16 years old and there was some buzz when it came out. I really like it. I wonder how Demi Moore & Alec Baldwin got along as it was at the height of both their careers. Wonder which one was the biggest diva?
