How did Teacher manage to wire Boffano's car in such a short time ? The meeting was on a relatively short notice. If I'm not mistaken, he only had a couple of hours or so. But even if he had sufficient time, wouldn't it be still very difficult if not IMPOSSIBLE to get past all those goons around Boffano ? And a notorious organized crime boss like Boffano wouldn't leave his car out on a deserted alley now, would he ?
Well, if this were a no-brainer action movie, I would have no problem ignoring details like this, but in a character-driven drama, I wish they had written something more plausible than this. Any thoughts ?

The bomb was obviously in the case with the money.

What gets me is, the mob was working with this guy for 10 years and he obviously was a trained killer and a demolition expert. It seemed careless of them to not frisk him thoroughly and check everything on his persons for weapons.

Yeah, the bomb was in the case, not the car.

He had no weapons. The bomb was detonated off his key chain (he did drive to the meeting) - again, he was an expert.
