I was kind of surprised myself. No big set action pieces. One car chase and a bit of location footage in Mexico.

Must have been on the cast which is a pretty good one. Demi Moore was probably at the peak of her star power around this time.

I seem to remember at the time that Demi was demanding $20 million a film. The rest? On cast, locations, etc.

Perhaps they had to pay for the rights to use the source material too. And that don't come cheap.

Them sculptures Moore's character makes don't come cheap.

Easy !
This film took 4 x month too shoot. Not including a few days of reshoots.
This is not including pre and post production.
Today this film would have been shot in 21 days and cost 7 mill.
