It is, or was, or will be on DVD after examining the IMDB page for Jaded(1996). There are images of DVD covers for this movie with at least one not being region 1 (North America). When the Netflix website is availible later tonight I will see if there is a mechanism for requesting DVDs not currently carried.
shareHuh. Certainly by the time this thread was started this movie was on DVD. Don't know if Netflix had it but I found it through Circuit City way earlier than July of last year. Wonder if it's still that hard to locate.
Well, Circuit City is now long gone, and Blockbuster rentals stores as well.
For several years, a studio released Region 1 copy of the DVD was selling on eBay and AMAZON in the $20 to $50 range, (YES, I did say *selling*, not being listed!!!)
In the last six months or so, I have found used copies in several resale shops in my area for sale under $10.
I have noticed that seems to be a pattern with very hard to find movies, shortly before they are released on Blu-Ray, or just re-released on DVD.
To name some examples, (some DVD re-releases, some Blu-Ray, some combos):
OUTSIDE PROVIDENCE,
WOMEN ON THE VERGE OF A NERVOUS BREAKDOWN,
MISCHIEF,
LICENSE TO DRIVE,
THE PIRATE MOVIE (Kristy McNichol),
BATTLE BEYOND THE STARS,
THE SPITFIRE GRILL,
PROJECT X, (Helen Hunt movie, not the *drunken party* movie),
and plenty more.
If you want a copy now, you will have to look, but they are nowhere near as hard to find as they once were...
I found this on DVD several years ago at the now defunct Tower Video on West 4th Street in NYC. The packaging is unlike a typical DVD package. Instead of the soft black book-like case that most DVD's come in, this one was in clear plastic. It's a legitamate DVD and not a bootleg though.
Will someone please release the Batman TV Series on DVD.
Netflix does not carry it, in DVD or streaming. Not sure about Blockbuster DVD rental. I just a copy for about $7.50 on Amazaon.
