The Parent Trap...

I always thought this movie was called The Parent Trap (for obvious reasons), and always wondered why they kept on saying how Lindsay Lohan was brilliant in it (really?). It wasn't until recently (well, 2 years ago) that they played a clip of the real The Parent Trap on television that I realised that this was an entirely different movie. I actually watched The Parent Trap at the movies with my folks when it came out...
Anyhoo, a few days ago my friend was telling me how he thought the exact same thing as me! And so the search for this movie was born. Today I finally went to google and typed in, "children lock parents in basement" and got my answer... House Arrest
