They really tried to get creative with this movie
Time travel, space, new cenobites, a hellhound. It's not as good as the first 2 movies.
shareThere is no time travel just a story that takes place over the span of centuries. This movie had a great premise, the present day stuff wasn't as interesting as the space and past stuff. They could have put a little more into it because at points it feels like a tv mini series but the production was all screwed up with many changes. It would have been better to show more of the politics of hell playing out between pinhead and the chick.
Cenobites work well in space. Much better than other horror icons would.
I didn't understand why Pinhead hated who he called The Toy Maker. I'm assuming Toy Maker is the person that made those puzzle boxes?
